Il Continente Mapello

The shopping mall Mapello Continent è un centro di nuova concezione che si trova a Mapello sulla Strada Statale Briantea che unisce Bergamo a Lecco. Oltre ad un’IPERCOOP possiede 60 stores in un’area che si estende per 90,000 square meters, of which 25,000 square meters of commercial space.

Through field sensors that detect CO2 and temperature è stato istallato un intelligent control system that updates the operation of the systems of cooling, heating and ricambio d’aria based on the endothermic load of the shopping center and the outside temperatures, while also improving indoor comfort.

Il contratto formalizzato è a “shared savings” ed il cliente è stato liberato da qualsiasi forma di investimento o onere.

L’installazione è durata solamente 1 giorno e la messa a punto, passato circa un mese, ha permesso:

• ·         a reduction in operating costs of the gallery of about the 28% during the test period, the 40% in the period following the tests;
• ·         an improvement of CO2 levels and of the relative comfort divided by the different zones of the mall;
• ·         an annual savings of emissions equal to 37.93T of CO2.
