Energia in Energia – The Science Competition 2024/2025 – 8th edition
SCIENCE FINALS
On May 30, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, at the Outdoor Area of UPO/DISIT located at Via T. Michel no. 11 (AL)
The final competitions of the primary and lower secondary schools registered in the Energia in Energia project have concluded.
This year, all participating students were rewarded with 300 free admissions for Sun Observation at the Astrobioparco “L'Oasi di Felizzano”, offered by 3i group and Amapola.
The two technical juries, composed of the Partner representatives of Energia in Energia, also awarded two prizes of 150 Euros each to the best entries of this edition:
- the 5th grade of the IC Bobbio Rivalta Strevi
- 3°A SA of the IC Borsellino in Casale Monferrato.
We would like to thank the female students Virginia and Cecilia from the I.T.I.S. Alessandro Volta in Alessandria for the work of peer-to-peer education carried out for as many as three editions of Energia in Energia.
The initiative, led by Associazione Ideale andUniversity of Eastern Piedmont, is sponsored by the City of Alessandria, organized by Amapola, the sponsor of this year’s event, in collaboration with the’ITIS Volta of Alexandria, and is part of the programming lineup for the 2nd edition of the Environment and Sustainability Festival organized by Amag Group.
A big thank you to each and every one of you for making a significant contribution to the success of the 8th edition.
The objective of Associazione Ideale is the dissemination of knowledge and support for environmental sustainability, health, safety, culture, and the growth of a sense of civic responsibility.

TEACHER TRAINING
Participating teachers take part in a 4-hour accredited seminar at the University of Eastern Piedmont
EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL
Each class receives supplementary teaching materials and the opportunity to use an educational application for tablets or mobile devices.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops organized by 3i Group engineers,
in peer-to-peer with the students of ITIS Volta – IS Sobrero
FINAL EVENT
At the end of the school year, the classes present their projects in front of a jury composed of experts

WELCOME, INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT, “THE SUN, A SOURCE OF (RE)NEWABLE ENERGY”, TABLE TOUR OF THE MODELS WINNERS OF “ENERGIA IN ENERGIA”
150 primary and lower secondary school students participated in the launch event of the 8th edition of Energia in Energia. 40 students had the opportunity to showcase and present their winning models to the visiting classes, sharing their experience from the idea to the creation. It was an opportunity to meet the student Federico Bergo winner of the 1st edition of Energia in Energia, winner of the first prize at the Italian selections of the undergraduate scientific research competition in Milan, and recently awarded by the European Commission in Katowice (PL)
